Lake Almanor Country Club

One of the popular areas to live in the Lake Almanor area is the Lake Almanor Country Club (LACC). Commonly called "The Peninsula" because of its shape, it's home to about 1200 residences. A good portion of these homes are vacation-2nd homes. It is a gated community, has security, and a home owner's association costing $1039 for 2008.



Amenities include a 9 hole golf course costing $26 for members, $34 for guests, and $38 for non-guests. There are tennis courts, two boat launching facilities, a swimming area, and a park with barbecue pits and picnic tables. There is an amphitheater at the park where summer concerts are held.



There are several lake front homes that rim the peninsula. Prices for lake front homes range from $950,000 to $2,000,000 or higher. Many come with docks allowing easy access for boating or fishing. Prices in LACC generally range from $300's to $900's. Many homes have lake views.

LACC being a relatively small area allows everyone to get to any activity in less than 10 minutes.

This is my first attempt at blogging, so please be patient! It is a crazy real estate market here in Lake Almanor, but there are some amazing deals for buyers. Sellers are accutely award that buyers can call their own shots right now. I believe the buyers who jump into the Lake Almanor market this season are going to be very happy with their long term outcome.

The positive news in real estate is the vacation rental program! Kyle is adding new homes and booking our existing homes at a record pace. I think it is because people who know, vacation in Lake Almanor for the summer!
